Ravi Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Ravi Inc (“Ravi,” “we,” “us”) for use of ravi.id and related services (the “Service”), including agent identities (email, phone/SMS, vault, contacts, policies, and APIs).

By creating an account, calling the API, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The short version
Ravi gives AI agents their own identity — email inbox, real phone for SMS/OTP, encrypted vault, and contacts — so agents can sign up for services, receive verification codes, and keep credentials without using your personal accounts.
You (the human or organization) remain responsible for what your agents do with those identities.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” includes that company.
You must not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law (including US sanctions rules).
3. The Service
We provide tools to create and manage agent identities and related features described on ravi.id and docs.ravi.id, which may include:
- Email send/receive for an agent address
- Phone numbers and SMS (including OTP interception for agent workflows)
- A vault for credentials and secrets with scoped access
- Contacts and communication policies between agents
- APIs and keys for agent runtimes and account management
Features, limits, and the free tier described on ravi.id may change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage or service-level agreement unless we agree to one in a separate signed order.
Third-party services your agents use (for example sites they sign up for) are not Ravi. Their terms and privacy policies apply between you/your agent and them.
4. Accounts, keys, and agent identities
- Keep operator credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
- Each agent identity is for your authorized agents. You may revoke identities; we may suspend identities that appear abused or compromised.
- Do not share a single identity across unrelated teams in a way that defeats access controls or auditability you claim to have.
5. Fees and paid plans
The Service currently includes a free tier as described on https://ravi.id. If you purchase a paid plan:
- Fees, billing period, and what’s included will be shown at checkout or in an order form before you pay.
- Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel.
- Taxes may apply. Refunds, if any, follow the terms shown at purchase or required by law.
- Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of paid features.
We will update these Terms and the checkout flow before introducing new paid plans. Until you buy a paid plan, no payment obligation applies beyond any optional purchases you clearly choose.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messages; evade blocks; or harvest personal data unlawfully
- Violate law, including telecom, anti-fraud, export, or intellectual-property rules
- Impersonate a person or entity in a deceptive way, or mislead others about who is contacting them
- Probe, scan, or attack systems without authorization; bypass rate limits or security controls
- Store or transmit malware, or use vault/email/SMS to traffic in stolen credentials for illegal purposes
- Interfere with other customers’ use of the Service
We may investigate and suspend or terminate access for violations, and we may report illegal activity to authorities when appropriate.
7. Your content and license
You retain rights in content you or your agents submit to the Service (emails, SMS, vault items, contacts, configuration) (“Customer Content”).
You grant Ravi a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content only as needed to provide and secure the Service and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights needed for Customer Content and for directing agents to interact with third-party services.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Ravi and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer (except where law forbids that restriction), or create competing services by misuse of our APIs beyond ordinary use.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.
10. Third-party marketplaces and connectors
If you access Ravi through a third-party catalog or host (for example an AI platform directory), that host’s terms may also apply to distribution. If those conflict with something the host requires for listing, the host’s distribution rules win for distribution; these Terms still govern your relationship with Ravi Inc. We do not separately incorporate unnamed marketplace rules into these Terms beyond that distribution carve-out.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAVI DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that email or SMS will always deliver, that OTPs will always arrive in time, that third-party sites will accept agent identities, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Agents may fail, mis-handle credentials, or take unwanted actions. You are responsible for supervising agents and for downstream accounts they create.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAVI AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID RAVI FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100).
Some places do not allow certain limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Ravi against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your or your agents’ use of the Service, Customer Content, or violation of these Terms or law — except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and request account closure via rid-support@ravi.app. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations, risk, non-payment (if applicable), or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version at https://ravi.id/terms and updating the effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where law requires additional consent.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in San Francisco County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for IP or unauthorized access claims.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms are the entire agreement for the Service and supersede conflicting prior agreements on the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Notices to Ravi: legal@ravi.app.
